Guatemala Rice
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 16 minutes
Total: 26 minutes
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon cut up tomato
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoon of diced carrot
- 1 table spoon chopped celery
- 2 table spoon of peas (optional)
- 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
Directions
- Heat up the saucepan and then add oil.
- Add rice.
- Add in the vegetables, salt, and chicken stock.
- Heat up until it boils.
- Turn the heat down to low and cook for 20 minutes.
- Make sure the rice is soft. ENJOY!
